Tube Cleaning Services

Tube cleaning services remove suitable deposits from industrial bores that can be reached. Tube geometry sets the tool limits; integrity testing is separate.

Tube Cleaning Services enquiry

Tube cleaning services remove suitable deposits from accessible industrial tube bores. Tube dimensions, material and wall condition are established before a cleaning head is selected. Small bores and bent passages need particular care because equipment that suits a larger straight tube may not pass safely or may damage a thin wall.

Tube geometry and blockages

Bore size, length, bends and wall condition determine what equipment can reach the deposit safely.

Isolation and access

Process isolation and access to the working and receiving ends are established before cleaning.

Tube geometry and blocked passages

Fouling may coat the bore along its length or form a complete obstruction at one point. Those conditions affect tool passage differently. Length, bends, wall condition and the deposit all need to be considered. Residual process substances are identified before equipment is opened so cleaning and waste handling reflect what remains inside.

Isolation and access at each end

Process isolation and access to the working and receiving ends are established under the site’s maintenance arrangements. Water and released deposits are contained. Where a tube cannot be reached safely, it is identified as untreated rather than assumed clean because adjacent passages were completed. Settings are selected for the tube itself, not for the maximum pressure available.

Treated tubes and separate integrity testing

Where equipment contains a tube bundle, we identify treated positions and tubes that remain obstructed or inaccessible. Cleaning does not establish pressure integrity and does not automatically include tube replacement. Reassembly, leak testing and operating checks are separate stages where they are required before return to service.

Tube Cleaning Services: common questions

Can very small tubes be water-jetted?

Small tubes need equipment and methods suited to their bore, wall and access.

Does a blocked tube need the same treatment as a fouled tube wall?

No. A blocked passage and a coating along the wall can require different treatment.

Does cleaning include tube replacement?

Replacement is separate work, informed by cleaning and inspection findings.

Are bent tubes assessed differently?

Yes. Bends can limit tool passage and the reachable length.

Will cleaning prove the tube is pressure-tight?

No. Suitable integrity testing is a separate task.
