Surveys and inspections arranged
Tell us where the problem is and what you have noticed. We can carry out a CCTV survey, inspect the pipe and investigate recurring blockages. Existing reports are useful if you have them; they are not needed to make an enquiry.
Jetting, roots and hard deposits
Grease and loose silt may suit water jetting. Roots or hard deposits may need mechanical cleaning or another specialist approach. We assess the deposit and pipe condition before choosing equipment, and explain the proposed work.
Pipe condition and repair options
Clay, plastic, cast iron and pitch fibre can present different problems. We can check for damage and deterioration, then discuss cleaning and any repairs needed. The selector provides a discussion point; it does not prescribe operating pressures or cutting settings.
Cleaning and material recovery
Removed silt, debris and contaminated water may need collection or vacuum recovery. We can assess access, the drainage route and handling arrangements as part of planning the job. Tell us the site postcode and whether the problem is urgent.

Can I contact you without completing the tool?

Can jetting damage a drain?
Unsuitable equipment or work on a damaged pipe can damage the drain. We can assess the material, condition and access before choosing a method. This selector cannot certify that a pipe can be jetted safely.
Why has the blockage returned after jetting?
A flow path may have been reopened without removing attached deposits, or roots may have grown back through an unrepaired defect. Poor gradient or damaged joints can also contribute. A recurring problem needs investigation.
Does root cutting repair the pipe?
Removing roots does not repair the opening they entered through. CCTV findings can help establish whether a joint or pipe defect needs repair and whether lining, local repair or replacement should be considered.
Should there be a CCTV survey after cleaning?
A CCTV recording can help show what was removed and what defects remain, especially after root removal or descaling. Ask whether it is included in the quotation and whether any areas could not be inspected.
What affects the price of drain jetting?
The deposit, pipe length, access, water supply, equipment and handling of removed material all affect the work. Inspection and any repair are separate items to clarify. The selector does not produce a price.
