Starting from the result you need
Getting a drain flowing again is a different job from cleaning it ready for CCTV inspection. Stripping a coating, likewise, is not the same as establishing whether the exposed surface meets the next coating specification. We keep those aims apart, so the finished work is judged against what it was actually for.
Nozzle, lance or removal system
A drain nozzle, a tube-cleaning lance and a concrete-removal system each do different work. Which one fits depends on the deposit, how the pipe or surface is built and the condition it is already in. Thin components, damaged pipes and weak coatings can limit a method that would suit sound material.
Spray, access and washwater
Jetting affects the area around the cleaning point, not only the material being treated. Access, spray protection and isolating connected equipment are all considered before work begins. Confined-space entry is avoided where possible, and where it is necessary it has its own assessment and emergency arrangements. Washwater can carry contamination released by cleaning, so it must be handled according to what it contains.
What cleaning reveals
Deposits and coatings can hide damage. We identify the treated areas, any remaining obstructions and conditions that need further inspection or repair, so the next maintenance decision rests on what cleaning has actually shown. Removing deposits does not prove structural integrity or constitute a completed repair.
